(1) Sign in to register

 

A.    If you are a member or have been taking classes with us, follow these guidelines (if you are NEW to our Y, see B. below):

 

Once you click the log in button on the left, your login screen will appear. Once you have used the on-line system already, you will simply enter your e-mail address and password. However, to login for the very first time, you will need to enter your last and first names, your e-mail address and your default password explained below… 

 

  • After you enter your name and e-mail address, you need to enter your password. The first time you login you must use your first and last initials plus your birth date. (Later on you will be able to change your password). Note: the month, day and year should each be represented by two digits. (Example: John Doe, birth date 01/01/1950, the password will be JD010150) If you are logging in for someone under the age of 18, the parent/guardian should use the initials and birth date of the minor. IF WE DO NOT HAVE YOUR CORRECT BIRTHDATE ON FILE OR IF THERE IS A SPELLING ERROR IN OUR SYSTEM, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO LOG IN. You will have to contact the membership office and provide us with the correct information. Please e-mail dob_form@ymcacapecod.org

 

  • Once you have entered your ‘first time login password’ click on Login or press Enter.

 

  • After logging into the system…

 

  • The next screen that comes up will have each member that is linked on your membership listed.
  • Click on the name you are registering/processing information for to continue.

 

 

  • To change/add an EMAIL address or change your password… (after logging into the system)

 

  • Click “member info” (if available in the top navigation bar) You should enter in your email address that you want all registration confirmations/receipts to go to AND enter in a new password…note your new password will be in a secured server…do not use strange characters or spaces in the password, and it IS case sensitive so remember whether something is capitalized or not. Click on “Update Info”. You may update your email or password at anytime and as often as you need to.

 

B.     If you are not already in our system as a member or a program participant, you will want to click sign me up!

Enter all required information, and you will be able to register for classes or join the Y!

(2) Choose a program

 

Once you have entered the Program Registration area you will see:

  • A search box, similar to internet search engines, like Google or Bing. This is what the box looks like:
  • Rather than use the search engine to find specific classes, if you prefer just click the green button
    and you will see all of the classes offered
  • If you want to limit what you see, the Search box allows both a single term and a multi term search.

 

Single Term Search

  • 30 character maximum search term
  • You can enter "camp", FOR EXAMPLE, which will return all programs with the term "camp" anywhere in the description areas.

 

Multi-Term Search

  • 30 character total maximum for all search terms
  • "and" is not required between terms
  • Up to 4 terms are supported
  • You can enter "first aid certification" which will return all programs with the terms "first" and "aid" and "certification" appearing anywhere in the description areas.
  • "OR" searches are supported
  • Limit of one "OR" search.
  • You can enter "fun camp or dance camp" which will return all programs with search terms "fun" and "camp" OR "dance" and "camp" appearing anywhere in description areas.

 

Examples of searches

  • You can enter the word “camp” and see all our camp programs
  • You can enter “Eel” and see all the Eels swim lessons offered
  • You can enter “Yoga or Row” and see all our yoga and rowing classes offered
  • You can enter “5 years” and see classes available for children of that age (although you may see other offerings as well)



(3) Browse our program list

 

Once you have done a search or simply browse, you will see a list of programs with the following info:

 

  • A brief description of the program
  • If you have not logged in and are just browsing, you will see the fee for a Member, the higher fee for Non-members and the special rate for those with a Family Membership
  • If you ARE logged in, you will see the fee applicable to your status as a member, family member or non-member. PLEASE NOTE – family member and member rates can be significantly less than non-member rates.
  • The date(s) that the program begins and ends
  • The time(s) the program begins and ends
  • The day(s) the class is held
  • How many slots still remain open
  • If there are no slots available the number of people on the wait list (you will have to email us at info@ymcacapecod.org to be put on a waitlist Please type the words “waiting list” in the subject line and indicate the program code, member name and phone number.
  • Last but not least the orange block with “register” is the button you click to register for that class.

 

 

 

(4) Submit payment information

 

Once you have selected the program you want to register for you must enter your credit card information.

 

  • You must first enter your credit card information, exactly as it appears on your credit card. Click on “Continue”.

 

  • You will now see the cost of the program and your credit card info…if you choose:

·        “Add to Cart” it will total the programs and allow you to “Continue” adding on more programs

·        “Logoff” to stop registration completely.

 



(5) Submit registration

 

Once you are sure that you want to register for all the programs selected:

 

·        Click on Proceed to Checkout! to begin the checkout procedure. You will receive a confirmation on your screen for printing and you and it will be emailed to you for future reference. Your credit card will be charged the Total that appears on the confirmation receipt.



 

·        Your registration will immediately update to our database at the Front Desk computers and be logged for the day…if you need to make any changes after you have confirmed your registration you will have to contact us at dob_form@ymcacapecod.org or call (508) 362-65000 x0 to make the changes for you.
